A 10 page analysis in which the writer argues that Theda Skocpol in her book "Protecting Soldiers and Mothers," and also Kristi Andersen in her book "After Suffrage" address similar territory in that both of these political scientists look at how female participation in the American political process in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries has largely been under-appreciated or ignored completely.
